Water is one of the most important factors in biological health, and 99% of the human body contains water molecules.

Have you ever wondered: What kind of secret lurks in a glass of water? Why does the slender steam rise from a cup of hot tea? Why do white clouds hang in the sky? Why do bubbles in soda grow bigger and bigger? Why doesn't jelly drip water? Why does the tongue stick to the popsicles......

These seemingly simple questions are not so easy to answer. Because to answer these questions, scientists need to explore a dangerous field of science. Water research has been hit hard in the past, and the reputations and even livelihoods of scientists who try to figure out the "social behavior" of H2O are under great threat, as if they were being painted with asphalt, feathered, and pulled through the streets.

A "living matrix" between solid and liquid is quietly rewriting our relationship with the most basic matter in this world.

What do you think of when you put a glass of water in front of you? Transparent, fluid, thirst-quenching. This may be all common sense tells us. However, Professor Pollack of the University of Washington used his research to reveal a shocking fact: water is far more than the three forms we know. In addition to solid, liquid, and gaseous states, there is also a "fourth phase" - "liquid crystal state" EZ water in water.

This water has a negative charge and is structured like a crystal, but it can flow. It is created by light (especially infrared), is the source of "activity" in glacial water, some holy springs, and constitutes the main body of our human cells. This discovery not only caused waves in the scientific community, but also unexpectedly opened a new door to the dialogue between Eastern and Western ideas.

Gerald. Gerald Pollack

01 Invisible order: When water is no longer a "straggler"

For a long time, Western classical science regarded water as a passive solvent, a random movement of H2O molecules. This stems from its deep reductionist tradition: to break down complex things into their most basic units (molecules, atoms) to understand. From this perspective, life is a precision machine on the material basis of "death", and water is only the background medium in this machine.

Pollack's discovery challenges this. He revealed that under the irradiation of hydrophilic substances (such as our cell membranes) and specific energies, water molecules spontaneously organize and arrange into neat layered structures, forming "rejection zones". It expels impurities, is denser, and carries a stable negative charge.

As you can imagine, ordinary water is skirmishers and swimming, while EZ water is a well-trained phalanx. This phalanx has its own "potential energy", like a battery. This means that water is not a passive stage of life, it is itself a highly ordered and energetically active "life matrix".

It is this EZ water that fills our cells, which explains why there is a negative potential inside the cell. Life may be born from this water of order and maintains its order.

02 Echoes of Oriental Philosophy: The scientific footnote of "Good is like water"

Interestingly, the properties of EZ water have long been described in oriental wisdom with intuitive descriptions.

Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism, said: "The best is like water, water is good for all things without fighting, and it is in the evil of everyone, so it is close to the Tao." Water is endowed with a supreme spirituality that is close to the original "Tao" of the universe. It does not contend, but nourishes all things; It is at the bottom, but it is all-inclusive. This is similar to the "beneficial to all things" property of EZ water - it acts as the main body in the cell, providing an orderly environment and energy foundation for all biochemical reactions, but never overpowering.

The Confucian classic "Analects" records: "The son said on the river: 'The deceased is like a husband, reluctant to give up day and night.' What Confucius saw was not only flow, but also the never-ending virtue of life symbolized by water. The discovery of EZ water provides a microscopic picture for this "endless life": light energy is continuously input, orderly structures are continuously generated and maintained, and energy flows and stores in it. Water itself is a dynamic and endless epic.

More profoundly, Eastern thought never divides matter and spirit, subject and object. It emphasizes the continuity and penetration of "qi", and all things are related and inducted in a whole energy field. EZ water is precisely the underlying scientific confirmation of this concept: it is born of light (energy), has its own charge (energy field), and is the unity of matter and energy. It suggests that it may be through this orderly water matrix that life forms a deep and continuous energy exchange with the outside world's light, heat, and electromagnetic fields.

03 The intersection of east and west: from "entity" thinking to "relationship-process" thinking

The philosophical significance of this cognitive revolution about water may be greater than science itself. It signals a potential fusion of thought paradigms.

Western traditional philosophy, from Aristotle's search for the "first cause" to Descartes' "I think, therefore I am" to establish the subject-object dichotomy, the core of which is to find unchanging entities and definite laws. The study of water has long been stuck in the entity definition of "what is it (H2O)".

The core of Eastern thought, whether it is the "Tao" of Taoism, the "origin" of Buddhism, or the "change" of the I Ching, is the relationship and process. Things are defined in eternal networks of relationships and dynamic flows.

The emergence of EZ water just bridges this gap. Pollack used the most rigorous experimental science in the West (spectral analysis, potentiometric measurement) to discover that water does not have a fixed "what", its essence depends on who it is adjacent to and what energy it is irradiated by. Under the action of hydrophilic surface and light, it is converted from disordered H2O to ordered H3O2.

This perfectly illustrates the wisdom of the East: nature is determined by relationships and circumstances. The "essence" of water lies in its "context" and what kind of "field" it is in. This allows us to re-understand the body: the human body is not a machine filled with "stagnant water", but a dynamic energy field composed of light, ordered water, and biological macromolecules that continuously exchange energy and information.

04 Enlightenment: Health is an "orderly" resonance

This cognition has direct and profound implications for how we understand ourselves and our health.

If the vitality of a cell depends on the abundance and stability of the internal EZ water, then health can be understood as the body's ability to maintain this internal ordered energy field. And disease, perhaps this order is weakened or disturbed.

This explains why natural movement, sunlight, clean natural water, and a calm and cheerful mood are good for health. Because they both directly or indirectly contribute to the body's production and maintenance of this high-energy, ordered water. On the contrary, long-term stress, environmental pollution, and a lifestyle that is out of nature may interfere with or even "pollute" our inner water order.

Glacier water, some springs, are considered to have "energy" perhaps because they are rich in this naturally occurring EZ water structure. It reminds us that the best "health preservation" may not be to blindly "add" foreign objects, but to create an environment that allows the inner order of life to naturally arise - to expose oneself more to natural light, clean water, and harmonious energy fields.

from a cup of ordinary water to a liquid crystal that contains the mysteries of life; from the precise measurements of Western laboratories to the distant echoes of Eastern millennium-old philosophies. Professor Pollack's work is like a bridge, allowing us to see that science's exploration of the most cutting-edge matter is moving towards the same intersection with the deepest understanding of life in ancient wisdom.

Water, no longer the background. It is the silent and vital protagonist in the drama of life. To understand it is not only to understand science, but also to understand with a new eye, why we are who we are and how to better resonate with this energetic world.

We will further introduce the relevant views and evidence in future articles, so please continue to pay attention.
